Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using EduIT's school management system, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access and use EduIT's services for personal or institutional educational purposes. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
• Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained in the service
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials
• Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account and password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service:

• In any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• To transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• To interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• To impersonate any person or entity
• To collect or store personal data about other users
• For any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by these terms

5. Payment Terms

If you purchase a subscription or service:

• You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription
• Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice
• Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of service

6. Intellectual Property

The service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of EduIT and its licensors. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your information.

You retain ownership of any data you submit through the service. By using the service, you grant us a license to use, store, and process this data as necessary to provide the service.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of our service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with or without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall EduIT, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EduIT and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees).

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach the Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of Rwanda, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
